We had a wonderful time on Thursday and Friday with Kindergarten Registration.
Parents were able to meet the President of our Parent-Teacher organization, review website resources, and make ABC flashcards.
Prospectivie kindergarten students were able to meet teachers and participate in a number of fun stations to gauge their academic
and motor skills.
A big thanks to all who attended and all those who helped make the day a fun experience.
This month we welcome our new School Resource Officer, Brian Lomeli of the Carey Police Department. Officer Lomeli comes to us via a partnership with the Village of Carey and our school district.
He will be in the building during regular school hours from now until the end of the school year. At this time, he will be walking the hallways, interacting with students and staff, and designing safety and law-related programs for students PK-12. These responsibilities will expand into other areas as he becomes more familiar with our building and the staff and students.
Please welcome Officer Lomeli!
This month students in all elementary grades have been visiting the MAZZA Museum in Findlay, Ohio.
We are so fortunate to have such a rich and vibrant resource within a relatively short driving distance.
The docents were eager to share information and answer questions.
