    Days of Code: June 6 - 8, 10 a.m. to noon - Grades 4 - 6

Using resources from the website  https://code.org/ students will be able to explore the science of code using chrome books provided by the school. This program builds upon the “Hour of Code” that fifth grade students participated in during this past December. (Elementary Art Room, please use Door 7.)

    E.Z. SCIENCE™ -  June 19 - 22, 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. - Grades 3 - 5

In the E.Z. Science module, the dedicated yet absentminded manager of the E.Z. Science Journal has enlisted the help of children in the Club Invention program.  Children must conduct experiments over the four day workshop – such as measuring time with a time glass and inflating balloons with carbon dioxide. They must solve a knot puzzle, protect eggs from a 3-foot drop, and create mazes to help restore order at the E.Z. Science Journal. (Elementary Art Room, please use Door 7.

    YOGA FOR LEARNING:

    June 19 - Grades K - 2: 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. - Grades 3 - 5: 11 a.m. - noon

Join us and learn simple ways to  feel calmer more focused, less stressed, and more aware of yourself. Kids will learn short brain break activities and put yoga to stories.  (Auxiliary Gym, please use Door 1)

    SEW NICE: June 21, 10 a.m. - Noon Grades 4 - 5

ZIPPERED CANDY BAG: Recycle candy or chip bags into the cutest thing you have seen. Take an 11 oz candy bag, and turn it into a purse/makeup bag/pencil holder. Easy project for beginning sewers!

Bring your own bag or some will be available.  M & M bags work great, and you get to eat what is inside.
